Accessibility
Please see the Accessibility page for information regarding accessibility.

Animals
Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited with the exception of service animals for guests with disabilities and/or special needs. Service animals are welcomed into the building and must remain on a leash or harness at all times.

ATM
A Lake Michigan Credit Union ATM machine is located inside DeVos Performance Hall near the south end of the lobby.

Aunt Flow
Van Andel Arena has partnered with woman-owned business, Aunt Flow, to provide free, organic menstrual products to patrons attending Van Andel Arena events.

Aunt Flow period product dispensers can be found in women's restrooms for the convenience of patrons that are in need. Each dispenser contains both pads and tampons that are free, and readily available with easy access.

Booster Seats
Booster seats for children are available on a first come, first served basis at coat check. Patrons will need to leave a photo ID to check out booster seats. Patrons may check out one booster seat per child, based on availability. Please ask any staff member for assistance if you are interested in checking out a booster seat.
Family Restroom
A family restroom is located on the third floor, on the north side of the theater.

Food and Beverage
The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel is the exclusive Food and Beverage provider. All outside food and beverage is prohibited from being brought in. Please note that concessions may not be available for some events.

Listening Devices
The Tele-coil Hearing Loop system in place for the hearing impaired will allow hearing aids to serve as wireless loudspeakers, delivering clear, sharp, customized sound right inside the ear. An induction loop system transmits magnetic energy to telecoil-equipped hearing aids through a wire that surrounds the audience. Patrons simply flip a switch on their T-coil equipped hearing aid and the sound is transmitted directly into their ears.

DeVos Performance Hall is equipped with an assisted listening device system. Receivers are available for most events and are provided free of charge with a valid form of identification from coat check. Please ask any staff member for assistance if you are interested in checking out a listening device.

Nursing Mothers
Please touch base with a staff member for access to the nursing mothers rooms if you are attending an event at DeVos Performance Hall. A private room will be provided upon request.

Parking
Parking is conveniently located under the convention center. Access to the parking lot is on Michigan Street and Lyon Street. DeVos Performance Hall parking is available 24/7 and may be paid by credit card or debit card.

Additional parking may be available in the City-County Building on Monroe Avenue (across from DeVos Place) or in several other parking structures within walking distance.

Vehicles that are too large to fit in a parking structure may be given a permit to park on Scribner Street during the dates of the event. Parking on Scribner Street is available on a first come, first served basis.

The cut out areas in front of DeVos Performance Hall and DeVos Place are intended as drop off zones, not a place to park.

Parking facilities at DeVos Place are managed by the City of Grand Rapids. Visit the City of Grand Rapids website for more information about parking in downtown Grand Rapids or call their office at 616-456-3000. Download the FREE mobile app to make finding parking stress-free. The GR Park App provides real-time availability for City parking facilities and shows locations nearest to you first. Available on iOS & Android.

Sensory Bags:
DeVos Performance Hall offers sensory items free of charge for patrons. Please ask any staff member for assistance if you are interested in checking out a sensory item. Identification is required in order to check out items. Identification will be returned to the patron upon return of the item. Sensory items are available on a first come, first served basis.
Sensory items available:
- Wiggle Seat: A specially designed wiggle seat helps calm and focus while allowing those using it to quietly move while working, enabling them to stay on task and be more productive. The sensory cushion is an outlet for excess energy.
- Lap Pad: Super soft fleece weighted Lap Pads are sensory tools that offer deep calming pressure; increasing the ability to focus, relieving anxiety and stress. It gives those with the wiggles a comforting sense of security and has a relaxing effect on the body and mind. Soothing dual textures alleviate excess energy, decrease restlessness, relieve stress and improve attentiveness.
- Noise Cancelling Headphones: World-class noise cancellation headphones will allow for a better listening experience in any environment. They feature a noise-rejecting, dual-mic system for clear sound and voice pick up. The balanced audio performance can be played at any volume and includes cable-free Bluetooth pairing.
- Fidget Toy/Pop-It's: These toys provide external stimuli to focus and an outlet for pent-up nervous energy. Pop-It fidget toys also help to relieve anxiety and stress by providing something to keep your hands busy, which are the most visibly affected body part in stressful situations.

Wheelchairs
Complimentary wheelchair escorts will be provided upon request at every entry point, based on availability. Please be aware that our staff will not remain with you during an event, nor will they allow you to remain in the wheelchair for the duration of the event.
