Poets, Prophets and Preachers, a three day theological seminar, will take place at DeVos Performance Hall July 5-7, 2009.

Poets, Prophets, and Preachers is a three day seminar that will feature Rob Bell, Peter Rollins, and Shane Hipps. The seminar will focus on the art of giving a great sermon. The seminar begins Monday, July 5 at 7:00 p.m. and then continues with all day sessions beginning at 9:00 a.m.  Monday, July 6th and Tuesday, July 7th.

Rob Bell is the pastor of Mars Hill, a local Grand Rapids church. His lecture tour, Drops Like Stars recently made a stop at DeVos Performance Hall on April 5th.  Peter Rollins is a writer and public speaker that frequently travels the world speaking about religion. Shane Hipps is the pastor of Trinity Mennonite Church in Glendale, AZ. Hipps is also a public speaker and author. Other speakers are scheduled to appear during the three day seminar.
